Artist Statement

Over the years I have spent making pottery I have discovered that making new work is what keeps me involved and gives me a fresh outlook. Playing with new designs whether functional or garden related enables me to stay involved without suffering from burnout from over 30 years in this business. Design changes usually occur without much planning. I like to let one idea drift into another and see what happens. What matters is that the work is always evolving in new directions and I am not bored with what I am doing.
