"Fall Water Refelction", photograph by Robert Colantuono
NAACO Gallery celebrates the work of photographer, Robert Colantuono and ceramist, Marie DeVito: two Brooklyn-born artists who have made this area of New England their home.
Colantuono, who has adopted the Berkshires since 1974, currently resides in North Adams, MA, and is presenting a collection of landscapes, both literal and abstracted, portraying the "Berkshires and Beyond" including one of his favorite escapes, the Caribbean.
D
eVito, who now resides in Bennington, VT after a 15 year stint in Los Angeles as a talent agent, references Colantuono's images through her intricate application of glazes in various geometric patterns onto functional platter forms with the intent of capturing the mood portrayed in the photographic images.

COMING UP:
"Amazonas" oil painting by Jamie Townsend
"Looking at Jamie’s art is like walking through a forest of windows, each a voyage into a city or countryside of wonder and amusement. Inside comes out, outside comes in. Reality is also aboard. A super ride.”
Scylla Liscombe (Poet, Dancer, Sarasota, Florida)
Over the past year, Townsend has been focussing both his
two-dimensional and three-dimensional work upon breaking up the space until it resolves the original choas, to one degree or another, that he'd brought to it.
A bold new mix of form and eye-popping color that you will not want to miss!
"Congratulations! Gorgeous gallery, gorgeous work. Kudos!"
